LIFE EVENTS CAN EITHER BREAK YOU DOWN OR EMPOWER YOU TO MAKE THE CHANGES NECESSARY TO IMPROVE YOUR QUALITY OF LIFE!

I believe Quality Life is about Making Good Choices!

My life has led me in many different directions and I have learned how to identify coping skills that helped me to refocus and change unhealthy behavior patterns that were nonproductive, confusing and overwhelming.

I am a wife of 30+ years, a mother with two grown and married young adults, and a very proud grandmother.  I love spending time with my family, reading, and being creative.  I recently moved to the North Woods of Minnesota after living in Kansas City since birth.  My life in Kansas City consisted of participating as a volunteer in several organizations while raising our children and eventually returning to school to earn my Master in Social Work Degree from the University of Kansas.  This allowed me to continue to pursue my passion for helping others with increased knowledge and a greater understanding of how our feelings, thoughts, and behaviors are interrelated. I have worked as a Clinical Social Worker for the last 20 years.
